Environmental policy

The directors and staff of www.standandtype.com Ltd are committed to:

• Protecting the environment and working towards a sustainable future
• Integrating environmental considerations into all aspects of our work
• Continually improving our own environmental performance

In recognising the valuable role that we can play in improving our manufacturers and customers environmental performance we will

• Use the infuence of our staff to stimulate interest and encourage appropriate action amongst our manufacturers and customers with respect to environmental management

In relation to our internal activities , we will:

• Meet or exceed current and future legislative requirements
• Strive to prevent pollution from our activities and minimise their environmental impacts whilst promoting the use of reused and recycled products wherever practical and commercially acceptable.
• Provide appropriate training to all employees to enable them to implement this environmental policy.
• Seek to translate the concept of Sustainable Development into practical action in all of our activites.
• Establish objectives and targets to support this policy and regularly review them and the continuing effectiveness of the Environmental Management System during the annual Management Review
